Craftmasters Property Services recently completed two bespoke modular wheelchair ramp installations at a property in Whitnash, Warwickshire, providing improved access at both the front and rear of the home.
The property presented two very different access challenges. At the rear, the ramp needed to provide easy access from an angled conservatory doorway into the garden, while the front entrance required a carefully planned layout to accommodate the available space and existing steps.
Modular Ramp Access from the Rear Conservatory

The rear entrance presented an unusual layout, with the conservatory door positioned at an angle to the garden. The modular ramp was configured to provide a level platform immediately outside the doorway before turning onto the sloping ramp section.
The system incorporates a slip-resistant fibreglass surface and handrails along the exposed edges, providing a practical route between the conservatory and garden while making effective use of the available space.
Modular Wheelchair Ramp for the Front Entrance

At the front of the property, the available space required a different approach. The modular ramp was designed to turn around the corner of the house, providing a level platform immediately outside the front door before continuing along the side of the property.
A set of steps was also incorporated directly opposite the entrance, allowing the doorway to remain convenient for people who do not need to use the ramp. This is one of the advantages of a modular system: the layout can be configured around the property rather than relying on a standard, one-size-fits-all design.
Bespoke Modular Wheelchair Ramps Across Warwickshire
Every property is different, which is why our modular ramp systems are designed around the available space, access requirements and the person using them. They can accommodate changes of direction, level platforms and existing features around a property, as demonstrated by these two installations in Whitnash.
